David, I have been party to a couple of conversations in which the concept of having various student-specific or teacher specific web pages, or interfaces would be nice. Two that were specifically discussed included one that parents could use to access their childrens lunch, latchkey, or other related billing information (i.e. how much money is still left on their "tab", etc), and the use of websites for teachers to provide updates to parents if they wish to get that info there instead of the use of paper (which kids tend to lose). - Thanks, Bill Badgero

With the new look and design of the Portland Public Schools webpage upcoming, how will this impact individual classroom pages? Will we still be able to use Microsoft FrontPage to edit our current classroom pages and keep our current look, or will our individual classroom pages need to conform to the overall Portland Public Schools webpage look? If the later is the case, will we be provided assistance designing our individual classroom pages to meet the Portland Public School new webpage look?
