David, I have been party to a couple of conversations in which the concept of having various student-specific or teacher specific web pages, or interfaces would be nice. Two that were specifically discussed included one that parents could use to access their childrens lunch, latchkey, or other related billing information (i.e. how much money is still left on their "tab", etc), and the use of websites for teachers to provide updates to parents if they wish to get that info there instead of the use of paper (which kids tend to lose). - Thanks, Bill Badgero

Bill,
Thank you for your input! These are all ideas that we will include in the future. As you may have noticed, our website is new. As such we are still working out the kinks. Once this is complete, you can expect to see an updated Parents and Students web pages providing important up to date information. As for the lunch information (payment info), we are working with our food services group to see what can be done.
Also, it bears mentioning that the new Portland Parent Gateway is now operational and HS and MS parents should be receiving letters with access passwords this week. WW parents will be able to check on their students next year if not next semester.
